Refund policy

We want you to love what you purchased. If anything arrives damaged or defective or you receive the wrong item, let us know within 7 days so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Due to the nature of our products and the fact that they are made-to-order, we are not able to accept casual returns. If there is an issue with your order, please reach out to us at takethehighroadco@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response, as we are a small family team and truly appreciate your patience. 

Returns (if applicable)
Unfortunately, returns cannot be accepted without prior return authorization. If a return is approved, the return address will be provided to you upon approval. Customer must provide shipping label and cover return shipping. Unless item was defective/damaged, or incorrect item was sent, a 20% restocking fee will incur. Item must be new/unused and in its original packaging. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Please remember, items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted. If refund is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded the purchase price (minus original shipping cost and restocking fee if applicable) to your original payment method within 10 business days. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges, per se. If you have received return authorization, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to place a new order for the new item. Once your return has been received, if accepted, your refund will be issued (minus original shipping cost and restocking fee if applicable).

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
